Mindjet´s Grace Period provides customers who purchased MindManager Version 9 for Windows between the 7th July and the launch of MindManager 2012 with a free electronic upgrade to MindManager 2012 when it becomes available.
Please note: By exercising your Grace Period right you consent to exchanging your right of use of MindManager Version 9 for Windows against the new right of use of MindManager 2012 for Windows. Upgrade requests made after the 30th November 2011 will not be fulfilled. This upgrade verification process only occurs online.

Did you purchase MindManager as an ESD-version?
If you purchased an ESD-version (via download, electronic software delivery) of MindManager Version 9 for Windows between 7th July and 21st September 2011 (date of invoice) via an authorized reseller then you are eligible to receive a free electronic upgrade for MindManager 2012 upon launch.
Fulfillment Process
Please have your current MindManager Version 9 license key ready. You will find this in an e-mail you received from your reseller to confirm your original order.
- Please acknowledge the exchange of your current license key by agreeing to Mindjet Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy before you enter the Mindjet Online Store.
- Simply enter your MindManager Version 9 for Windows license key in the 'Have a promo code?' field below the shopping cart and click 'Apply'. The price will now change to £0.00. Proceed to 'Checkout'.
- To enable us to send you the new license key for MindManager 2012, enter your contact information under 'Billing Information' followed by 'Continue'.
- Please click 'Submit Order' to confirm your order. You will automatically receive an invoice for the value of £0.00 via e-mail. This invoice will contain your new MindManager 2012 license key as well as the download link.
Important note: Your download link and license key will be sent to the e-mail address specified under 'Billing Information'.

To request your free upgrade please submit a Customer Service web case, choose “Order & Fulfillment Question” as the topic and use “Grace Period 2012” as your subject line.
The following information will need to be included to verify your eligibility for a free upgrade:
- Your dated reseller invoice as a proof of purchase (can be attached as a PDF file)
- Your MindManager Version 9 for Windows license key

You own Mindjet volume licenses within license program and MSA?
Customers that are part of the Mindjet 5Plus license program or Mindjet Software Assurance and Support (MSA) for Windows at the date of launch will receive their software upgrades automatically as an ESD-version (via download, electronic software delivery) as this is part of the MSA service. You will receive an email with all necessary information upon the launch of MindManager 2012.

Test versions, beta versions and copies of samples ("NFR") are not eligible for a free upgrade within the grace period.
